Moto2: Scott Redding gets in rival Espargaro’s head – using his helmet!

After an interview with Pons Tuenti team rider Pol Espargaro where he claimed, rather uncharacteristically as he is not known for slating other riders, that Scott Redding will crumble under the pressure and struggle to ride in the heat, a problem that the Brit feels he has conquered, Marc VDS man Redding is aiming to use a little sport psychology himself on the Spanish rider.

Espargaro uses the phrase ‘never give up’ on his own helmet, as seen in this post here and this weekend the Gloucester born rider has used the phrase on his own helmet, adding a series of question marks to needle his championship rival.

Redding currently leads the championship by 43 points having already amassed a total of 101, while after a string of out of character performances and crashes, pre-season title favourite Espargaro sits in fifth in the standings, with 54 points.
