Herrera really has earned her wild card return as team-mate to Alex Rins and Alex Marquez too, she currently holds the joint lead in the CEV Moto3 Spanish Championship – the teenager was second and first with both rounds being held at the venue for this weekends racing – Jerez!
On her first wild-card appearance at Aragon last year she was a victim of her nerves and fell on the first lap. With more experience and some more wins under her belt she has been rewarded with another world championship chance on a track she is very familiar with.
