Moto3 and Moto2 round-up: Austin – Fenati and Rins both dominate for victory

The third round of the 2016 season saw the paddock arrive in Austin, Texas for the Circuit of the Americas GP.

Both the Moto3 and Moto2 classes saw different but dominant wins – Romano Fenati vanished with a healthy lead while Alex Rins ran a precise race from the front keeping his rivals in check.

Sky Racing Team VR46’s Romano Fenati hit the front halfway through the race taking advantage of Jorge Navarro’s grip issues aboard the Honda and never looked back as he coasted to his first win of 2016 by over six seconds.

The Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider had planned to tuck in behind the Italian’s KTM but settled for second and valuable points.
