Moto3 and Moto2: Germany- Wins for Pawi and Zarco as the rain arrives at the Sachsenring.

A quick review of today’s Moto3 and Moto2 races in Germany over at @PaddockChatter …

Ahead of race day rain had been predicted, it arrived and played a part in all of the German Grand Prix races at the Sachsenring. Here’s what happened in Moto3 and Moto2.


In Moto3 the riders who tend to go better in the wet soon found their way to the front, with Khairul Idham Pawi treating us to another display as good as his Argentina wet win and needing just four laps to hit the front after qualifying down in 20th.

The Honda Team Asia teenager wasn’t without a wobble along the way in the tricky conditions but his confidence in the wet and huge time advantage saw him the clear winner after seeing off early rivals including team-mate Hiroki Ono.

    I know comment is not for MotoGP but holy wow what a ride Marc put in. such an inspired gamble to change over to slicks when he did.

      Same here, been ill a lot (though nothing serious, just exhausting!)& busy – at the moment it’s all parents evenings and sports days and the like.

      Hope all is well with you too, will hopefully have more time in the next few weeks with schools out (still an avid reader of your blog even if I don’t always have time to comment!- always an interesting read 🙂 )
