Ahead of a practice round up, here’s a picture Pramac Ducati rider Andrea Iannone posted on his official Twitter page after yesterday’s practice rounds – a fine for speeding in the pitlane!
It was accompanied by the text “Eccolaaa!! La prima multa dell’anno!!” (Here it is! The first fine this year!)
Iannone was obviously going fast at every opportunity but still needs to work a little after finishing the first practice in twelfth, just ahead of his team mate Ben Spies. the highest placed Ducati was in fourth after an amazing ride by Andrea Dovizioso.
An impressive lap from Aleix Espargaro saw him place in the top ten in the first session of the year, in ninth as the top CRT rider.
Top three was Yamaha dominated : fastest was Lorenzo, second went to Crutchlow on the Tech3 after finishing top at the final test, Rossi was third and positive after apparently only using one set of tyres.
